Janis I. Walker

Jan was born in Filbert, West Va. on August 12th 1946.

Jan moved to Okeechobee, Fl. with her family when she was a little girl. Then Jan and her family moved to Ft. Pierce, Fl. where she met Bill Walker, fell in love, got married and had three kids.

Jan loved watching soap operas and listening to the oldies and old country music, she also loved to go camping and fishing. Jan worked her butt off and at one time she worked three jobs. Jan loved her kids but when they missed behaved, she busted

their butts, Jan was a wonderful and caring mom to her kids but she loved her grandkids maybe even more!

She loved to spoil them especially at Christmas time.

Jan was preceded in death by her husband, William Walker Jr; daughter, Deborah Walker; mother, Velva French; father, James French and brother, Jimmy French. Survivors include her sister Jackie Shew (Charles) of Ft. Pierce Fl; sister Charlotte Cassell (Calvin) of The Villages; sister Gail Selph of Ft. Pierce, Fl; daughter, Angie Skubic of Ft Pierce, Fl; son in law, Thomas Skubic of Ft Pierce, Fl; son, Denny Walker of Marion, VA; grandson,

Tommy Skubic of Ft Pierce, Fl; step granddaughter, Sierra Denis of Ft Pierce, Fl; great granddaughters,

Maia & Mariah Denis of Ft Pierce, Fl; and great grandson, Isaac Denis of Ft Pierce, Fl.

A visitation for Janis will be held Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home, 6026 North US Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946. A funeral service will occur Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 6026 North US Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946. A graveside service will occur Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 6026 North Us Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946.
