James (Tom) C Barbour, 77 of Port St. Lucie, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Tradition Medical Center. He was born in Harnett, North Carolina and lived most of his life in Florida. Even though he never had any kids of his own, he was a loving mate, father, and grandfather to our family for the last 36 years.
He honorably served our country in the US Army in the 1960's.
Pops was a wonderful man that was loved, will be missed and will always be cherished.
He is survived by his Florida family, Martha Davidson, Amy Perslin, Sherry Helms, and his grandkids, Colin Coyle, McKenzie Perslin, Haley Lemke, and Kailyn Porter and his four sisters from North Carolina, Judy Holland, Bonnie Honeycutt, Joyce Barbour, and Mincie Didawick and his three brothers from North Carolina, Sam Barbour, Joe Barbour, and Lauren Barbour.
Visitation will be from 10:30 - 12:00 in the Aycock Chapel with a service at noon.
