He was born November 7, 1936 in Queens, New York, the son of the late Eugene and Marie Duffy. He had been a resident of N. Hutchinson Island. Fl. since 1994, coming from Dix Hills, NY. A man of many talents ``A jack of all trades" With his love of baseball, his first gas station in Maspeth, NY, to his creation of a home renovation company on Long Island NY, to a retirement in Florida that he was not ready for. He purchased 3 convenience stores Tom's Mobil, Gene's Mobil and Duffy's Mobil in Vero Beach and brought together a group of friends every morning for coffee, donuts, and conversations to start the day. He made sure he was there to open every morning at 5am for "The Coffee Crew". A man always there for everyone will be greatly missed by all.
Mr. Duffy is survived by his loving children; one son, Eugene J. Duffy II of Ft. Pierce, daughters, Lee Ann Lorito of Sebastian and Kristen Duffy of Port St. Lucie; two grandchildren, Michael and Jacquelyn Lorito of Vero Beach; a Great Grandson Frankie. He was predeceased by his loving wife Dolores Duffy, son in law Frank Lorito and his grandson, Cameron Duffy.
A visitation for Eugene will be held Sunday, December 11, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home, 6026 North US Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946. A funeral service will occur Sunday, December 11, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 6026 North US Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946. A graveside service will occur Sunday, December 11, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 6026 North Us Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946.
