Daniel H Klipstine

Daniel H. Klipstine passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, August 7, 2023.He was born on August 10, 1943 to Leon and Evelyn Klipstine in Fort Pierce, Florida, where he resided most of his life.

Danny graduated from Dan McCarty High School in 1963. His passion for agriculture began young as a member of FFA in high school. Throughout his career, he managed various packing houses throughout Indian River and St. Lucie counties. In 2016, he retired from Packers of Indian River after many years in the industry.

Danny loved the outdoors- spending time fishing and camping with family and friends were some of his favorite pastimes.

He is survived by Maria Miranda, his sister, Betty Rizzotto, and 5 children: Patrica Geis, Dena Pinner (Troy), Richard Klipstine (Maria), Gerrit Klipstine (Erica), Aaron Klipstine (Elizabeth) and step-children Maria Luna (Jesus) and Fernando Mendoza.

He was also blessed with many grandchildren: Erica Millan (Frank), Andrea Geis, Samantha Geis, Austin Pinner, Colton Pinner, Richard Klipstine, Andrew Klipstine, Madison Klipstine, Caitlin Klipstine, Dakota Klipstine, Joseph Klipstine, Taylor Klipstine, Alysandra Luna, Zadrian Luna, Zaylee Luna, Ayden Mendoza, Jacob Mendoza, Dylan Mendoza and Caleb Mendoza.

Danny is predeceased by his parents Leon and Evelyn Klipstine and brother Leon Klipstine, Jr.

A mass of Christian Burial celebrating Danny’s life will be held at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach on Friday, August 18th at 10am. Interment will immediately follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Ft. Pierce with a reception at Aycock Funeral Home.
