Betty was born in Beech Creek, KY and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 49 years coming from Beech Creek, KY.
Betty was a homemaker and worked at Woolworth’s in Vero Beach. She loved to cook and always had the kitchen open to feed anyone in need.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Andrew, of Vero Beach, daughters, Debra Brooks of Vero Beach, Lucretia Steele of Port St Lucie, Pam Loidle of Canton, OH, Alena Steele of Louisiana, brothers, Jimmy Pogue of Beechmont, KY, David Pogue of Ebenezer, KY, sisters, Mary Jo Anderson of Beechmont, KY, Sue Sumner of KY, Kay Anderson of Central City, KY, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Steele.
A Visitation will be held from 1-2pm with a Service at 2pm on Monday, June 3, 2013 at Aycock Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. An Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce, FL.
