Betty Gene Gage

Betty Gene Gage, 81, passed away on November 6th. 1,2023. Betty Gene was born in Ghent, Kentucky to Eugene and Sophia Bickers on July 315, 1942.

In 1957, Betty Gene moved to Florida and graduated from Dan McCarty High School in 1960 and continued her education at Indian River Community College.

For 34 years, Betty Gene devoted her time to the Indian River County School system where she had many different responsibilities at different locations She cherished the memories and met lifelong friends while working for the district.

As we fondly remember Betty Gene, we will always remember her southern charm,smile and sense of humor.

Betty Gene is survived by her husband, James Gage and is remembered by her children Jack Barker(Dana), Julia Walker,Judson Barker Ill and Jason Barker.

She was a proud grandmother to many grandchildren and one great grandson.She is survived by the father of her children,Judson Barker Jr.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on December 16h, 2023 at 10:00 am at Aycock Funeral Home,6026 N. US Hwy # 1,Fort Pierce, Fla. This gathering will provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together, share memories, and support one another during this time of remembrance.
