William Terry Stewart, Age 88, April 6, 2022, Arrangements Hodges-Kiser Funeral Home, 9231 Cypress Lake Dr., Fort Myers, FL

Memorial Service to be held 11:00 a.m. on April 19th, 2022, at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2439 McGregor Blvd., Fort Myers, FL. 33901.

Born the first child of Jack H. & Ruby Cotton Stewart in Tulsa, Oklahoma, W.T. had two siblings, Betty Jean and Robert Dean. The family lived in Tulsa and Fayetteville, AR.

He married his high school sweetheart, Roselynn Baker their freshman year at the University of Arkansas. He graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering.

He then served in the United States Air Force stationed in Chambley-Bussieres, France.

They have three children, Wm. Terry Jr., Lisa Lynn, Kathryn Elizabeth and many nieces and nephews making for a rich family life. There are six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. His life was also enriched by many employees and business associates.

After military service, W.T. worked with his father in the Tulsa, OK Stewart Electric Company. During his lifelong career, W.T. established several other companies: Systems Engineering, Terac Controls, and Engineering Design Group which provided services to the worldwide Petroleum, Power and Control industries. EDG over the years had offices in Tulsa, Houston, Brighton, England, The Hague, Netherlands and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

W.T. enjoyed boating and the couple traveled via “The Nauty Lady “12,000 miles from Port of Catoosa, OK up the east coast as far as New York Harbor. They anchored two summers at Baltimore, MD.

Beginning in 2000, they lived in semi-retirement in Fort Myers, FL, residing in The Landings Yacht, Golf, & Tennis Community. They are members of Covenant Presbyterian Church.
