For 23 years, Vera adapted to her husband’s zest for travel, diligently and lovingly setting up house for their family of six, in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, Germany, Okinawa, California, Hawaii and Florida. It was in Fort Lauderdale, Vera retired after a distinguished 27-year career in the Records Division of the Broward County Sheriff’s Department.
