Robert Jefferson Lambert Jr., born on June 10, 1944, in Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on August 9, 2024, in Lehigh Acres, Florida. He was a devoted husband to Patricia E. Lambert, with whom he shared 28 years of marriage, celebrating their union on February 3, 1996.
Robert was a proud U.S. Navy Seabee veteran and a Master Electrician, most known for his work as a Trades Teacher at DJB Technical Academy, where he was honored as Teacher of the Year. His love for education extended beyond the classroom; he was dedicated to his students and his community, often opening his home and heart to those in need.
An avid traveler, Robert had a special fondness for Alaska, where he cherished the beauty of nature. He enjoyed cruising in his Corvette and had a passion for good food, particularly steak and Po Boys. His love for music was reflected in his appreciation for Gospel and Country genres, while his entertainment choices favored old Westerns and action-packed war films.
Robert was blessed with a vibrant family, including his children, Sonya Osburn (Robert), Lacey Morris (Brad), Heather Campbell (Dave Keef), and Jared Lambert (Kelly), along with grandchildren Grady Perkins, Ellis Wideman, Felicia Morris, Kyle Pilkinton, Ethan Perkins, Justin Pilkinton, Axton Morris, and Peyton Osburn. He is also survived by his siblings, Kitty Shepard and Mike Lambert, and was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Jefferson Lambert Sr. and Virginia Beatrice Lambert and his siblings Larry Lambert and Jackie Lambert.
Known for his loud personality and quick wit, Robert always believed in the importance of humor in life, famously saying, "If you take life too serious it will kill you." His proudest accomplishments were his family and the love they shared, which remained at the center of his life. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and unwavering love, remembered fondly by all who knew him, including his beloved pets, Bubba, Sissy, and Bo. Robert "Lambo" Lambert will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of his family and friends.
