So many times as I'm going on in my life I will say let me ask Bob, and then a pain goes through my body when I remember you are not here.  Its been hard, lonely and almost impossible to live without you,. (,Don't give me that look).  It's true.  I'm starting  a new chapter in my life, but it won't  be without you in my heart and in my new home.  I will have your family and my family around me more often and I pray my heart gets a rest  from how much it hurts everyday.  You made me a better person and a stronger person.

It’s hard to believe 2 years have passed already. We miss your life being by Karen’s side in your dream home in Florida.  Hearing about all your adventures together. Soon, Karen will be returning home to be near her family and yours.  You will be joining her, resting near your family in heaven.  You will always be part of Karen’s life in the future chapters ahead. You were Karen’s love and happiness and are missed. We can only hope and pray to give Karen back some of that love and happiness in the coming years.

Bob, I can't believe it has been a year already that you left me to go home to your family in heaven.  Each day was so hard and I miss you so much.  I love you so much and it's been hard to live each day without you.  You were my best friend, husband,  lover and rock to my world which has not and never will be the same.  Only your memories and the  girls are my comfort now since your gone.  I love you, miss you and will never forever forget what you meant to me.  The best thing that ever happened to me was you. A couple of weeks have gone by and you can feel the absence of a fine neighbor. Bob was a very thoughtful person making sure everyone else was have a good time at his expense.  Always checking if your beer was empty to offer another. Passing the shot glasses at the community dances though he didn’t drink.  We miss his humor, his sarcasm and his laughter.  Bob was indeed a true friend. We pray for Karen to find peace as we all adjust to his not being here in person. He will live in our hearts.

BEST Christmas gifts EVER!!!!  I can remember a time when Uncle Bob stood in line at the old Zayre store, where Midway Airport now stands, to get me my very first Cabbage Patch Doll.  I still have it!!!  He always went out of his way to make each one of us happy with those hard to get gifts.  
He will be missed dearly and his sudden departure breaks our hearts.  He and Karen are in our thoughts and prayers.  God Bless my Godfather.

We met Bob and Karen when they moved into Country Lakes and have been friends with them ever since,,We enjoyed camping in our motor homes in Savannah Ga., andFranklin Locks.We enjoyed playing cards,our get togethers at dinner or whenever we were together, Bob was a caring loving person and Miles and I will always cherrish the times we had togetherWe loved you Bob.

Uncle Bob meant everything to us. We will always remember and cherish all of the great memories that we had shared with him. Whether it was taking us camping, visiting us at college or our Florida excursions, he was always there for us. He spoiled us endlessly with trips to Oinks, buying multiple loaves of bread to feed the goats, and going the extra mile to be there whenever we needed him. He taught us some of the most valuable life lessons - like how to drive by practicing on a golf cart or how to “read between the lines.” Uncle Bob was one of a kind, and we will forever miss his generosity, kindness, sarcasm, and wit.

I remember how Bob enjoyed buying gifts for all of his nieces and nephews at Christmas.  I also remember all of the camping trips with Bob and the family.  We felt like we were all one.  Bob had an infectious laugh that I will never forget.  One picture I am sharing is of a trip to Canada that he took with his cousin and brothers.  The other picture is from Christmas 1979.

These pictures are from my little sister, Kristie.  She asked that I post them for her. Uncle Bob is her godfather.  Our uncle was truly always there for our special events.  We were so lucky in that way.  Going through pictures though, we realized that we missed out on taking a lot of pictures in the later years that we wish we had to look at now.  Thankfully, we have those memories to carry with us.  

I am so sorry to hear about uncle Bob’s passing. Him and his incredible sense of humor are already so missed.

It deeply saddens me about Bob passing.  It’s hurts me that he’s gone.  He love life to the fullest and he adores you.  You brought so much joy and love to him. 

Gram Irene enjoyed baking his favorites and she enjoyed her visits with him immensely.

May the love surrounds you bring comfort and peace to you.  My prayers are with you and may God grant you strength during this difficult time.  Bob will forever be in our hearts. Sending you lots of ❤️ love & hugs & comfort

My Love, Soulmate, Friend & Best Husband ever.  From our 1st phone call when we talked and heard your voice my heart told me we would be together.  27 wonderful years with so many memories.  Not only did I get the best of the best, I gained a wonderful new family whom have been very supporting through this. Uncle Bob, you are a wonderful uncle and Godfather.  When my dad was sick, before he passed, I had trouble talking to most people, but I always enjoyed talking to you during that time. You helped me get through it. After my dad passed, I told you I wanted to go home to be with my boys. I know you were tired, but you got me a flight home and drove me to the airport. You helped me with exactly what I needed.
You also made my Christmases when I was little extra special. Thank you for always being so generous and for giving me an amazing Aunt when you married Aunt Karen. Love you always.

Uncle Bob loved getting us fun Christmas gifts – thank you for the pogo stick that no one else would have even considered getting me!  I also enjoyed all the fun times playing games with you and my dad - pool, Don’t Spill the Beans, running bases, etc.    The camping trips as a kid were awesome as well - Cutty’s, Yogi Bear, etc. It was fun to continue the camping experience with my kids too, as you and Aunt Karen opened your camper up to them – who could forget the fun trick or treating event or all the special memories on the golf cart!  

Uncle Bob, you loved life, your family & any chance you could find to zing us with your sarcastic wit.  I miss you!  Thank you for all the great memories, bringing Aunt Karen into the family, and always making us laugh.  Rest in peace.

Dear Karen,
We are so saddened by the sudden loss of your dear Bob.  Family gatherings were that much more merrier when Bob was present with his jovial, joking ways. I am also grateful to Bob and you for taking the time to visit with “Aunt Irene”.  My grandmother would fondly talk about your visits with the three of you in her kitchen over the Chinese food (and other treats) you both would bring to her.  Bob gifted the family when he chose you. Karen, we are there in spirit and you will always have a special place in our lives. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I will always remember all of the fun games and gifts that Uncle Bob gave to me and our cousins at Christmas time.   Christmases were so much fun when we were little!  We would always play with the games together after presents were opened.  I also fondly remember the road trips to go camping and the museum too.  I’m really going to miss our phone calls so much!  Rest In Peace, Uncle Bob!-  I love you ❤️ and thank  you for adding our wonderful Aunt Karen to the  family!
