Rebecca Lee Montgomery

Rebecca (Becky) Lee Montgomery, 85, of Fort Myers, FL passed away Sunday. February 5, 2023. Born January 20, 1938, in Salisbury, MD as Rebecca Lee Willie at Peninsula General Hospital of Wicomico County.

Becky has been a proud resident of Pine Ridge at Fort Myers for many years where she is cherished and loved by many. A retiree of Lennar Homes after decades as Executive Administrator, Becky enjoyed watching American football in all its many forms, playing cards, bingo, pool walking, and dining with friends weekly. A longtime member of the Loyal Order of Moose Tice and the Shores FL Lodge 1297, Chapter # 562 and the American Legion Auxiliary, Becky gave generously of herself in service.

Becky’s passion for service was always strongest when giving of her time and effort with her friends and fellow worshippers of Grace Church, Fort Myers Shores Campus, led by Pastor Shari Lacey.

Becky is survived by her son, Scot (Joy) Montgomery, grandson Bowen Montgomery; stepchildren Bob (Lynn) Montgomery, Hazel (Ron) Nelson, Bob (Kristy) Jahn, and Barbara (Tom) McCarthy; step-grandchildren Sara Montgomery, Heather (Ed) Wigglesworth, Kyle (Terri) Nelson, and US Army Major Robert (Michele) Jahn; step-great grandchildren Noah, Lauren, Ava, Emily, Lizzie, Skyler, Robert, and Rochele; and many life-long friends, and caring neighbors.

Becky is preceded in death by her parents Roy Edward Willie and Audrey Ida Pennewell, husbands Louis Montgomery and Bob Jahn, Sr., stepchild G. Eric Montgomery, and step grandchild Daniel Montgomery.
