Raymond Keith Jones

With broken hearts we are sad to announce the death of our dad Raymond Jones. Born and raised in Miami, Florida where he married the love of his life and soulmate Patricia Jones and mother of his seven children. He was a hard-working insulator, dedicated to his craft and devoted father and friend. He always had a good sense of humor. He was loved by many. He loved to garden, fish, and go shrimping whenever he could. He relocated to Lehigh Acres, FL in 2000, where he continued as a dedicated Son of God and worshiped at the Lehigh Acres Church of Christ. He was blessed to find love later in life and marry his wife Shirley Jones in June of 2014, expanding his loving family. He is survived by his wife Shirley Jones, children Raymond Jones Jr., Kathy Tate, Karen Causey, Marcia Alvarez, Ron Jones, Geneive Madonna, Denene Meneley, Melanie Barton, 20 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren, brothers Johnny Jones and Larry Jones. Ray is also survived by daughter and son in-laws which he considered his own daughters and sons, Demetra Jones, Chandra Jones, Alex Alvarez, Scott Causey and Mike Meneley, as well as many other family members. He is predeceased by our mom Patricia Jones, his mother Mable Jones, father John Jones, and sisters Joan Weatherholt , and Louise Bickle.

Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park on Tuesday, March 9th from 12:00 pm until the funeral service at 1:00. Burial will follow in Lee Memorial Park Cemetery.
