Ramon Rodriguez Rivera, 86, of Fort Myers passed away Tuesday, Jan 17th, 2017. He was born in Puerto Rico, the son of Nemencio Rodriguez and Maria Rivera. He had been employed by the Lee County School Board for 18 years.
Ramon is survived by his wife of 63 years, Edith; children, Ramon Rodriguez Jr, Ana Z. Gonzalez, Ricardo R. Leon, Ruben R. Leon, Alicia Santiago and Reynaldo Rodriguez; Eight grandchildren, Rosana Colon, Vern Leon, Hector Gonzalez Jr, Alejandro Leon, Nomar Leon, Robby Leon, Mia Rodriguez and Nisa Rodriguez; 1 great grandchild, Jeshua Colon. Ramon was preceded in death by two children, Roberto and Carmen Edith.
A wake will be Friday, Jan 20th, from 5 – 8 PM at Hodges-Kiser Funeral Home, Fort Myers. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Saturday, Jan 21st, at San Jose’ Catholic Mission, 10750 Gladiolus Dr, Fort Myers, FL. Ramon will be laid to rest at Lee Memorial Park, Fort Myers, with military honors.
