Dad today is the 1st Anniversary of your passing. I know that you're in a better place. No more pain, no more suffering. I know God is taking good care of you in heaven. 
I find myself crying everytime I think of this day,  it was so sudden and unexpected. This grieving thing is no joke. I miss you Dad! I pray for you and mom every day. She is doing well. I know she misses you a lot, RIP, Dad! Until we meet again.

Tomorrow will mark the 1 year anniversary of you leaving us. Time flies but just know that I have thought of you every second of every day since that day. I guess my way of coping with your loss is thinking about it as your in Guyana on a long vacation...I don't know when it will actually sink in that deep to me that you will never come back home. I feel as though someone knew you were going to get tired of being here soon so they sent Norris Ky'aire to take your place. Not a day goes by, something you said or done would make me laugh and sometimes cry. I miss you and love you dearly. Mom is doing well, she misses you a lot. Sue is keeping her busy, so I think she doesn't have  time to drown in sorrow, which is good. Everyone here is well. The grands and great grands are getting big. They all miss their grandpa. It has been a few months since your passing and I still miss you more than you know. We all do. You never realize how impactful and loved a person is until they are gone. I feel like you are still here sometimes. Gram is doing okay, however she misses you dearly. I love you so much and I will talk to you later. My daughter is getting big.

You will truly be missed. In my eyes, you were the core of the family; strong and dedicated to the family in every aspect. I enjoyed the fishing trips and the "cold ones" we shared. I never got to thank you for trusting me with your baby-girl (my wife), but know that I will do my best to love and cherish her forever; as you did your wife. 

To the family, I understand your pain. Nothing is worse than losing a dedicated father or loving mother (as in my case). The pain is almost unbearable. However, hope and happiness can be achieved; just look to those fun-filled, joyous memories that we were fortunate enough to share.

And being in a Guyanese family that's an incredible thing to accomplish.  Lol. You and Aunty Janet always had a house full of love and laughter. Grandpa, you were the most amazing grandfather and great grandfather a child could ever ask for. Regardless who's path you've came across you have impacted their lives in some type of way. You always made everything so interesting and never is there a dull moment with you around. This is such a tragic time in my life, our lives, all of us, it's just so surreal. I'm heart broken and hurt I just can't believe your gone. Every moment that goes by, not only am I thinking of you, but JaLi is too. I looked at this web-page over and over again because I am still in disbelief over the fact that you are gone. The tears won't stop flowing and that I can say is from the entire family. You were a special man and you have impacted so many. I can honestly say that this is one of the saddest moments that I have ever experienced in my life. There aren't enough words to emphasize who you were or how much you taught me. Although I do know that you have been a consistent source of love for me and my siblings since birth. You were truly a patriarch that was Godsent. On days that I was overly stressed I would call you and you would always know exactly what to say. During every call you would break into a song saying "Nikki I love you" and lord knows something that simple would brighten my day. To this day I don't know a man that is as loving and kind as you. I can only pray that my relationship with my significant other can be like my grand-parents (epic love). Please know that while you are on your thrown with God's angels that you will be missed. I love you so much grandpa and I am so glad that you got to see my baby as well. You will always have a special place in our hearts and I know that you will always be with us. I really miss you! I can't believe you're gone! Mom still needs you. You were her everything; we all need you! Monday night I had a bad dream that you died. I woke up with a very bad feeling and called to talk to you and mom the next day. Wednesday, you fell and was admitted in the hospital, I couldn't believe it; I hoped you would recover and be ok. The days past and we chatted on the phone several times, but I wish that I would have put off school to come and see you; selfish me. I finally made it to see you on Saturday, if I didn't I would have never forgiven myself. You smiled at me and told me not to let mom stay in the hospital because you were worried about her being cold. You were not worried about yourself. I will never forget your beautiful smile when you were trying to look at Krystle and my picture on the visitor's pass. If you didn't have a cold I know you would have laughed really hard because her picture looked like an inmate's mug shot (sorry Krys lol). You wanted to rest, so we said our good byes and you knew it would be forever. I could tell how hard you squeezed my hand when I told you “I Love You Dad!” Mom said “Nor you want me to kiss you on your lips?” and you replied no I have a cold and don't want you to get sick. She reached and hugged him and said I love you! He replied to both of us and we left. Sunday came and I wish it never did because I couldn't stand to see you lying in the bed with tubes come out of your mouth. I wanted you to stay, but at the same time I didn't want you to suffer. You are gone, but defiantly won't be forgotten. I love you dad!
