Nelson was smart, funny and loved life. He was a great friend of mine in high school and always wanted to do big things in life. My sincerest condolences go out to his family and friends. 

Nelson Leyva was an amazing person super funny. I knew him from high school. Always called me his little sister and me to him my big brother! I remember him always laughing and being happy. I'll never forget what type of person he was and it hurts me that a high school friend passed away....May he rest in peace and prayers for his family.

I'm so saddened to hear this.. nelson had compassion.smart.goodheart.funny.he loved cook outs with us and just hanging out with us he brought joy when he would appear at my house he loved his mom so much!!I nelson mom I am praying for ur comfort at this time . I will miss him .. truly gone way to soon.. love moma Jessica
