Jim,
Skip and I send our deepest condolences on the loss of Natalie. We have many fond memories of our Kmart days together. We enjoyed so many special times at Win Schuler's, baseball games, and Kmart outings. We especially remember your Pennsylvania wedding and what a privilege it was to bring Natalie's kids back to Michigan following the ceremony. It's so hard to believe it was more than 40 years ago. Time flies. Take good care of yourself.

From the time I first worked with Natalie at KIH and we shared a cube, I wanted to look like her with that sweet curly hair and the very natural and soft clothes like we wore in the 60’s and 70’s - she was like a country breeze. Natalie’s eyes were the softest blue you could imagine, clear and twinkly when she laughed, a laugh that was genuine and made you laugh with her! She was painstakingly accurate in her work, deliberate and methodical. She taught me how to schedule our jobs on OPC by first drawing it out. Only after all this and checking it twice, would she okay the changes. 
Her and Jim loved going antique hunting all day with Larry and I, looking hi and low for the gems we loved and we delighted when we found a deal! Her cooking was something you looked forward to all day. She didn’t even hold it against me that I had no aptitude for cooking and baking, that was enthusiastically shared between her and Larry.
Natalie was a great storyteller too, even tho I had never been to the Jersey shore, I could imagine it as if I had been. Natalie made you feel like there was an adventure to be had wherever you went with her and Jim, a loving couple that were happy and relaxed.
The visit her and Jim made to my house this past summer I will hold in my heart forever, a beautiful day ending with hugs and smiles, my only regret is that we didn’t think to do a pic of us. I am so thankful we had that time together to sit and laugh once again. 
You will be dearly missed my friend, I was so fortunate to have had you in my life, as a teacher a mentor, a friend. Every year I carefully hang the ornaments you and Jim gave me on my tree and this year they will have poignant meaning, treasured all the more.
Rest softly on the breeze Natalie and shine with the stars, we’ll see you again healthy, smiling and happy!


I first met Natalie when she applied for a part-time Library Page position with the Lee County Library System.  She aced the interview and was offered and accepted  the position.  From first meeting  Natalie, she and I became work buddies.  We talked about our families, grandchildren's antics, trips we had taken,  recipes, we went to lunch on occasion and discussed books we read when we were receiving book deliveries.  After I retired, our friendship became more and Natalie and I went out to lunch, to the movies, attended events  and called each other just to catch up.   Natalie was a wonderful woman and will be missed by me and many others who's lives she touched.  Rest in peace my friend and love you.

Jim, I am so sorry to hear about Natalie. You guys were an awesome couple from the beginning. Its hard to think it's been that many years since I knew you. Hugs and prayers to you.

Dear Natalie how I miss you. Our talks  when we worked together at Library Processing, meeting up for lunch, my retirement party, and long telephone talks after I moved to Alaska. I am so happy I got to spend a few days with you in March. To remember, talk, watch tv, laugh, even feeding you Culver’s ice cream, your sense of humor and to say I love you and see you later.
