Mitchell M. Howard III, age 60, of Fort Myers passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers, FL. He was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on May 30, 1962 to Mitchell M. Howard, Jr and Myrna Howard.
Mitch was the best darn A/C man you’ll ever know. He worked at the family business, Southern Comfort Air Conditioning, followed by the Lee County School District.
He is survived by his children: Mitchell Howard IV, Nick (Ashley) Howard, Brandon (Ciara) Howard and Heather (Phillip) Gonzales; grandchildren: Mitchell V, Sage, Aiden, Nolan, Paxton, Bradley, Elendra and Leila; sister, Patricia (Carey) Jenkins and brother, Steve (Katherine) Howard.
A graveside service will be held Friday, May 26th at 2:00 pm at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery 12777 State Road 82 in Fort Myers. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 4:00 pm at Alva Methodist Church 21440 Pearl Street, Alva, FL 33920.
