Melvin Cohen, a remarkable man who lived 88 years, passed away on Tuesday, October 10th, leaving behind a legacy of love, family, and unforgettable stories. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Melvin's life journey was an extraordinary one, enriched by the love of his family and the countless tales he shared.
Melvin was a devoted husband, celebrating 64 years of marriage with his beloved Roslyn Cohen. Their union was a testament to enduring love and partnership and served as an inspiration to all who knew them.
As a father, Melvin raised two wonderful children, Steven and Jordana, instilling in them the values of love and kindness. He always practiced patience and urged them to pursue their ambitions. His wisdom shaped their lives, and they carry his legacy forward in the world.
Melvin's pride and joy were his six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in his heart. His face would light up at the mention of their names, and he took great pleasure in watching them grow, offering them love, guidance, and, of course, an abundance of stories to treasure.
Melvin was known for his exceptional storytelling ability, captivating all those fortunate enough to hear his tales. His booming voice commanded attention and filled any room. Whether it was a tale of his days defending the schoolyard or a humorous anecdote from his travels with Roslyn, his stories were a source of endless amusement.
