Melvin was a devoted husband, celebrating 64 years of marriage with his beloved Roslyn Cohen. Their union was a testament to enduring love and partnership and served as an inspiration to all who knew them.

As a father, Melvin raised two wonderful children, Steven and Jordana, instilling in them the values of love and kindness. He always practiced patience and urged them to pursue their ambitions. His wisdom shaped their lives, and they carry his legacy forward in the world.

Melvin's pride and joy were his six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in his heart. His face would light up at the mention of their names, and he took great pleasure in watching them grow, offering them love, guidance, and, of course, an abundance of stories to treasure.

A funeral service for Melvin will be held Monday, October 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM at HODGES-KISER FUNERAL HOME, 9231 Cypress Lake Drive, Fort Myers, Florida 33919.
