Mary (or Marie to family) was a master seamstress, dedicated to her craft throughout her entire adult life. Mary’s specialty was designing wedding gowns; each a one-of-a-kind work of art. In her later years, she sewed girl’s dresses, ranging in size; each decorated with trims so no two were alike. It was her deepest pleasure to stop and give these dresses away to all the cutest little girls she encountered!
Her husband, Raymond Howard, preceded her in death in 2002 after 48 years of marriage. She is survived by her three children, Francine Villano, Raymond Villano, and Christopher Villano and his wife, Judi (Gorski). She has two granddaughters, Samantha Villano and Alexandra Villano, and six (almost 7!) great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park on Thursday, June 22nd from 10am - 12pm with service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in her memory.
