Mary Joseph Buehler

Mary Joe was married in 1965 to Thomas John Buehler and lived in Michigan and Indiana before settling down in Frankfort, Illinois for many years. Mary Joe worked as a teacher for over 25 years in several schools while raising their 4 daughters. Mary Joe and Tom retired to Fort Myers in 1998 where they enjoyed years of golfing, boating and visiting with friends. She was married to Tom Buehler for over 52 years before his passing in 2018.

Mary Joe is survived by her 4 daughters and 8 grandchildren: Kristin Toll, daughters Katie and Elise Toll, Cindy Spiezio, sons Justin and Christopher Spiezio, Pam Spiezio, son Anthony and daughter Olivia Spiezio and Joelle(Eric) Maes, son Zeke and daughter Stella Maes. Mary Joe is also survived by her brother Robert(Marilou) Wilson Jr. of St. Louis, MO and her nephews, Bob, Christopher, Michael and David Wilson and their families. Preceded in death by her parents Robert and Helen Wilson, John and Mary Lou Buehler and son in law Mark Spiezio.

Mary Joe’s funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 31st at St. John XXIII Catholic Church, 3060 Palomino Ln, Fort Myers, FL 33912, at 10am with a gathering at 9:30am.
