Marguerite Mildred Henry

She was born on March 26, 1933 in Colombus, OH, daughter of William and Mabel (Rowe) Lambert. She moved to Miami, FL in the mid-60’s and welcomed twin sons in the fall of ’66. In 1980 Maggie moved to Sanibel, FL with her family and finished raising her children. She then settled in San Carlos Park, FL for the past 37 years.

Maggie enjoyed gardening, watching her flowers bloom, puzzles, and scrap booking. Her main love and interest was her family. She found joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel S. Henry; son, Samuel “Steven” Henry, brother, Roland Lambert; and sister, Marie Lambert.

She is survived by her two sons, Patrick Henry and Michael Henry, both of Fort Myers, FL and sister-in-law Maryanne Lambert and two nephews of Texas.

Grandchildren: Kayla Henry, Craig Henry, Jacob (Aspen) Henry, Brandon (Ashley) Kelley

Great-grandchildren: Zoey Brooke, Mason Samuel, Conner Patrick, Logan Robert, Carson Steven, Brianna Grace, and Baliey Rose

She will FOREVER be loved and remembered as a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.

Maggie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A graveside service for Marguerite will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery, 1589 Colonial Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33907.
