Kim Eva Avery

Mountain Dale, NY- Kim E. Avery, 61, a retired caretaker for Crystal Run Village, Middletown, NY, went to be with the Lord on May 1, 2019 at Lehigh Regional Medical Center in Lehigh Acres, Florida. She is predeceased by her parents: Doris C. Avery and Elmer “Bummie” Avery Jr.; brother Ronald Avery of Ellenville, NY and sister Peggy Avery of Lehigh Acres FL. Survivors include her partner: Steve Carr of Woodridge NY; three sons: Christopher Geelan of Nebraska, William Geelan of Sundown NY, and Joseph Coutant of Mountain Dale NY and one daughter: Annmarie Coutant of Spring Glen NY. Six brothers: Michael Avery, James Avery and Anthony Avery of Ellenville NY, Wayne Avery and Reginald Avery of Lehigh Acres FL and Joseph Avery of Colorado Springs CO. Three sisters: Charlene Vasquez of Lehigh Acres FL., Robbin Avery-Schatz of Huguenot NY, and Judith Whiteman of Pensacola FL. Seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Kim was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend to everyone she knew. She loved her kids and lived every day to the fullest. Her smile was contagious and will forever be remembered by the people who knew her. She was known for her good sense of humor, laughter and her strength. Kim loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Her favorite pastime was going to the beach searching for shells and watching the dolphins swim by. She also had a passion for turtles. These are the things that made her happy. She will forever smile down on Mr. and Mrs. Santa Amazon. She was a fighter till the end and will forever be missed.
