 I am so sorry for your loss.  My prayers, thoughts and condolences to all.  There are no words to express my sorrow for losing such a great friend that I have known all my life.   With so many memories, from our early years at St. Mary’s to our times as adults, playing ball at the Little League park behind his house, riding his go cart at Madison school, sleeping outside during the summer months, working at GM, our nights out on the town, our many nights at local restaurants, get togethers at his house, our many talks on the phone and so many more memories.  Joe was truly a good friend who was always there for me with a smile on his face.  He has and will always will be in my thoughts.  Joe you will be truly missed.

I knew Joe mostly thru his support of Ford sponsored JDRF charity events.  He was a kind gentleman.  My sincere condolences to his family and May his soul rest in peace.

Deepest condolences and thoughts with Joe's family.   Joe was a wonderful person, excellent colleague and a true gentleman who cared deeply for others.   He loved talking about golf and had a great sense of humor- always had a laugh or something funny he observed to talk about- always a great joy to be around Joe.  I am glad I got to know and work with him.  His dedication to JDRF fundraising events is also something I recall.

Joe C. was a dear colleague and we shared many wonderful moments in Ford Powertrain.  I will always remember him for his diligence and hard work including the work he did with JDRF.  My prayers and condolences go out to Joe's family and may our Lord Jesus provide them all with comfort and solace during this time of sorrow and grief. 

Joe and I worked together at Ford Motor Company.  I have known him to be a very helping, competent engineer and a gentleman. My prayers are with family. He will be missed. May his soul rest in peace.

I worked with Joe at Ford, and he was like an uncle to me. He was a very kind and sweet soul, and so generous, always involved in any causes where he could help. He didn’t care about anyone’s position or status and treated everyone with kindness and respect. He would always give me great advice with the classic Joe humor. I am so blessed to have known him and call him a friend and my work uncle. Rest In Peace Joe, we all miss you.

Linda,  So very sorry for your loss. 

I had the pleasure of working with Joe at Ford. He was a kind hearted man that would do anything for someone in need. 
He spent many days working on some of the toughest problems facing Ford. His knowledge and expertise and leadership during those times was exceptional. 

I’m proud to have known and worked with Joe but what makes me more proud is being able to call him a friend. 

May he Rest In Peace. 

When we were younger living down the street from Joe a group of us would visit on a regular basis while he was ill(scarlet fever I think) and full him in on things in the neighborhood. He always had a smile on his face. In later years he kept that positive attitude. Joe and the entire Caruso were just great people to know

Joe was a wonderful person with a huge heart.  He made the best pizzas in his pizza oven, was a great golfer and loved to be with his friends golfing.  He and Lin were the best neighbors anyone could have and we are honored to say we became great friends.

Here's to you Joe.... we love you.

Joe and I were co-workers at Ford Motor Company for sixteen (16)  years.  Joe was very kind, caring and sensible. We confided in each other numerous times. You will be missed, my Friend.  Rest in Peace

     Denise and I are deeply saddened by your loss. Joe will be missed by many.
I was very fortunate to have known Joe since 1981 working together at the GM Casting Plant in Massena, NY.  We also worked together at Doehler-Jarvis in Toledo, Ohio. When he went to work at Ford his STA Team was my team at multiple supplier sites in North America. My family owes Joe my opportunity to end my career at Ford as part of his STA Team. That was the best career move I ever made!
     From the many great parties he had at his house on Nightingale in Massena to traveling with Joe for work until his retirement, I will never forget the great many memories we amassed over all those years.

Linda, what a great guy and you were matched perfectly.  The one thing I will remember most was his love of making pizza in his new outdoor pizza oven. He had the process down cold. The only problem was with the preparation and he didn't want to make one pizza, so he made many. I think Barb and I went home with three whole pizzas. Love you Linda and I pray that God gives you the strength to get through this situation.

When I fist met Joe, he was working tirelessly to relocate Ford transmission case production from his prior employer in Toledo to multiple sites throughout the US and Canada.  During all of this hard work, Ford took notice of his ability to lead others and promoted him to manage multiple projects and become a teacher/leader to emerging-career engineers.   One of the legacies Joe left at Ford was his strong team of Supplier Quality Engineers to carry on the work he started in 1998.  The Joe I'll remember was the friendly colleague who encouraged a healthy diet, regular exercise and maintaining self control under stressful situations.

So glad to have an opportunity to get to know Joe,  a Great person, a friend and a big brother. Many unforgettable memories of us working together on special assignments…always with a smile on his face regardless of how stressful the assignment was!

Joe enjoyed an O'Douls and a turkey sandwich after a round of golf.  He was always the go-to person who knew all the rules of golf.  He was also the master pizza chef and master of the tall story.  So, hats off to Joe and raise a beer in his memory.  A fun gentleman and a great guy to call a friend.
