He was born July 15, 1960 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Joseph and Michaelene (Janusiak) Bray.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Joan Bray, and his three children: Tracy Bray, Michelle (William) English, and Joshua (Celeste) Bray. He also enjoyed the company of his six grandchildren: Logan, William, Anthony, Madison, Leah, and Gavin. Survivors also include his five siblings: Debbie (Robert) Lara, Todd (Louise) Bray, Scott Bray, Colleen Bray, and Mark Bray. He is also survived by many loving in- laws, nieces, nephews, and long time friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Michaelene Bray.
Most of his life was dedicated to working in maintenance, and most recently at The Inns of Sanibel. He most of all adored the time he spent with his children and grandchildren, and built many joyful memories with his close family and friends. It was also his lifelong passion to cheer on the Green Bay Packers football team.
Funeral services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to Joan Bray at 15880 Summerlin Road #300-180, Fort Myers, FL 33908 to be used for the education of his grandchildren. Joe thought education was very important, and always wanted to help further his grandchildren’s education as much as possible.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, Fort Myers, Florida.
