Janet Raye Baehr Pease died on June 28, 2011, with her family by her side. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Robert Pease, daughter, Pamela Sue Kollmann (Kevin), son, Robert Pease Jr. (Jenifer), grandchildren, William and Andrew Chase Kollmann, Emma Grace and Madilynn Raye Pease, Sara Vose Pease, brother, Robert Baehr (LaVonna), twin sister, Janice Faye Grube (Lee), nine nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Grace Baehr, and sister, Rosalie Diersing. Her faith and family were the foundation of her life. She was born on October 1, 1936 in Beatrice, Nebraska. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She was a member of Saint Michael Lutheran Church and a past member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was a long-time member of Cypress Lake Country Club, past president and life member of Periwinkle Garden Club, a long-time member of Town & Gown and a member of the Royal Palm Yacht Club. She was one of the founding owners of Triple J of Lee County, Inc. along with her twin sister, Janice. Watching her grandsons and granddaughters play sports and grow up brought her much joy. She loved being with her two children and families and friends and enjoyed bridge, golf, boating and Cornhusker football and especially her “lunch bunch” and bridge friends. Through the years, Bob and Jan made their home in Nebraska, Delaware, Kentucky and in 1968 moved to Florida from Nebraska. She resided in Fort Myers since 1976. Memorial services will be held at Saint Michael Lutheran Church, Tuesday July 5, 2011 at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Jon Zehnder officiating. Following the service there will be a reception at the Cypress Lake Country Club. Interment will be private at the Lee Memorial Park Cemetery.
