James Vernon League
March 2, 1935 – April 15, 2025
IN THE CARE OF
James V. League, age 90, of North Fort Myers passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Ohio on March 2, 1935.
James is survived by his children: Wesley, Deborah, Charles, Jerry and Timothy, 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred, his sons: James Ronald and Mark Alan and his sister, Stella Baker.
He was a member of the Ham Radio Club. He is a US Army veteran. His committal service will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, May 1st at Sarasota National Cemetery 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL 34241. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org.
