He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lynda, and their children Jack Jr., Amanda (Drew), and Dustin; brother Dale (Marsha), sisters Brenda (Carl) and Bonnie, along with many cherished uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by twin daughters Jacqueline and Jessica, father Lucius, mother Agnes, and brother Mike.
Jack was a Ft. Myers native, born at Lee Memorial Hospital, where he later worked for 26 years in Plant Operations. He then worked as the Director of Plant Operations for 5 years at Park Royal Hospital.
He grew up working on a shrimp boat with his father, and enjoyed riding bulls in jackpot rodeos. He played football and ran track at Riverdale High School.
It was well known that Jack's family was his life. He was famous for his delicious BBQ chicken and backyard family gatherings.
Services will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, Oct. 29 at 2pm.
