Gertrude “Trudy” Luvina Edwards age 87, of Ft Myers, FL passed away on January 15, 2019. Trudy was a US Air Force veteran and served her country during the Korean War. While in the service she acquired her skills as a Nurse Anesthestist where she worked in her civilian life for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Johnny Johnson and Nezzie Jackson Johnson. Trudy is survived by her son, Spencer Keith Edwards; grandchildren, Angelica Kay Edwards; daughter-in-law, Johnla Kay Foster Edwards.
Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road, Ft Myers, FL 33913 on Thursday, January 24th at 11am followed by the funeral service at Noon and burial at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery. Info 239-334-4880.
