Frederick Lehman Hays

Frederick L. Hays Sr., 73 Passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025, two days after celebrating his 73rd birthday. A beloved father, brother, and friend to many, Frederick will be remembered for his quiet strength and his deep devotion to his family.

Born on April 10, 1952, in Havertown, Pa, Fred was a proud graduate of Widener University and a member of, and one time President of, the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Over the years, he built a life rooted in love, laughter and tradition. He had a lifelong passion for golfing, fishing and crabbing- activities that brought him peace and joy, especially when shared with those he loved. An athlete, coach and mentor at heart, all 5 of his kids have perfect form when shooting a three pointer and know the importance of being 80% from the foul line.

David A. Hays (Yahima) of Ft. Myers FL

Allison Zindel (Michael) of Sewell, NJ

Kathleen Hays of Sewell, NJ

Gregory Hays of Jacksonville, FL

He is also survived by his brother, Andrew Hays (Deborah) of Upper St. Clair, PA and sister, Marlene H Caldwell (Douglas) of Downingtown, PA.
