A proud graduate of Cuba, Enrique earned a college degree in Master Automotive Mechanics. He had a passion for reading, especially novels and history books, with The Count of Montecristo being one of his favorites. In his early twenties, Enrique earned a black belt in Jujitsu, a testament to his discipline and strength. He was also an accomplished domino player, known for his competitive spirit.
Enrique was a man who loved engaging in political discussions with friends, and he was deeply passionate about the world around him. However, his greatest devotion was to his family. He dedicated his life to ensuring that his daughters and grandchildren were not only cared for but also instilled with his values and principles. His wisdom, love, and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know him.
One of the most cherished memories of Enrique was his playful call to his wife, Ramona: "Vieja, tengo hambre!" His love for her cooking, and his insatiable appetite, always brought light and joy to their home.
A Visitation for Enrique will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913.
