I called last year and asked Brent if he thought it would be ok to talk to you, if you would remember me.  You did, I could tell in your voice you knew exactly who I was.  You welcomed me into your heart when I was two years old and thru the years although we didn't get to see each other often, we kept in touch.  You will forever be my Nana. 

(No one notified me of her passing so I apologize for the late message)  

Today,  I am closing my eyes to say a prayer for My Aunt Virginia as I wipe away the tears, so many great memories run thru my mind.
I was blessed “That God “ shared you for a little while with us and for me to call you “Aunt” .
I spent so much time over at your house and you taught me so much. We cooked, sang, cleaned, prayed, read the Bible and most importantly to me when Brent was born you said he was part mine...
I know you are wrapped in Angels wings and sitting in God’s home now! High on the mountain !
Thank you for those last three smiles as I will cherished them and all the others till we meet again

I spent a lot of time playing with my cousins, Brent and Mark when we were young.  One of the fun things we did was to put on "shows".  Aunt Ginge would let us hang "curtains" in the door way and let us be creative with singing, acting and dancing.  My niece, Debbie, would often join in the "production" . 
These were fun a memorable times for us.  Aunt Ginge was always in the audience cheering us on!
God rest your sweet soul Aung Ginge.  


Everyday that i worked with Brent,  he would always share with me how much he loved his mother.   Brent and Tom would make sure that mother had her breakfast ready,  and every little detail of her day was taken care of between them.   The love and care she was surrounded by was a testament to the love that was mutually shared in that household and through Christ Jesus.   My greatest memory was that of Virginia celebrating her 100th birthday at the steakhouse.   The amount of people and family and loved ones in attendance was an awesome and spiritual testament to the lives that she had touched.  I am so honored to know her and honored to know her son Brent.   Virginia is going to be forever remembered in my heart and mind.   Forever in my daily prayers.   One day the Lord promised to wipe away our every tear.  We will all be United through Christ out Lord,  amen.  

Thank you Mother for all the years of your love, guidance, patience and understanding.  It was a tremendous blessing to be your son. 

I have so many fond memories of Aunt Virginia but have chosen two to share.

When my brother Steve and I would spend the night at Aunt Virginia's,  to make it fun for us, she would become a waitress and short order cook. With pencil and paper in hand she would tell us the menu and then take our orders,  always with her ever present smile and  jovial laughter.

In more recent years, I have enjoyed her poems that she wrote so beautifully.  I have a collection that I will continue to read again and again.  She was a prolific and talented writer.
