Doreen Mary Lecheler

Doreen (Totaro) Lecheler, 62, of Estero, Florida and formerly of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania passed away Friday, June 2, 2023 at Hope Hospice in Lehigh Acres, Florida. She was born in Buffalo, New York on November 8, 1960.

Doreen graduated from Cedar Cliff High School in 1978. She received her Bachelors in Marketing degree from the University of Maryland and went on to earn her Masters in Counseling from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C. She had a modeling career that sent her to New York City, D.C., Tokyo and Paris. While living in Colorado, she became a graduate of Leadership Denver and was deeply involved in Project CURE. She married Brent Lecheler on August 30, 1997. She was the CEO of her own consulting firm called Vision Linked, Inc.

Doreen is survived by her husband, Brent; her son, Nic Lecheler; her brother, Don (Melanie) Totaro; nephews: Doug (Jessica) Totaro and Derek (Megan) Totaro; Uncle Joseph and Aunt Margaret Schmitt as well as many additional aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Judi Shirk and her brother, Douglas Totaro.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Doreen’s name may be made to Project CURE.
