i know this is late, but i was an old student of hers in gateway in 2019-2020. she was one of my favorite teachers and when i found out she left i cried to the point where i couldnt speak. she was such a supportive teacher and supported me in everything i did in her class. i wish you the best and hoping you guys have healed.

I still miss Cindy on a daily basis! She was a true friend to whom I could always entrust my deepest feelings. I miss our talks and our lunches and our laughs. I hope your soul is at peace and that you knew how much you were loved.

Cindy was a beautiful soul, my friendship with her goes back to high school, we became close due to the fact that  we had every art class together for all 4 years . We reconnected two years ago . I live over on the east coast of Florida, chats on the phones about memories of our past ,and also made plans  to get together.   Will miss her dearly. My condolences go out to Ed and family. I’m so sorry for your loss of a wonderful person, and my friend. Till we see each other on the other side my friend I will love and will miss you dearly.  Oxox.

Both of my boys had Mrs Collins as an art teacher and both were so saddened by the news of her passing.  She touched the hearts of many kids and everyone she was in contact with.  Mrs Collins we will all be missing you.  

Words are few, but we will always remember Mrs. Collins as the second mother of my daughters.  Her departure has saddened us greatly.  My daughters will miss her.  From the depths of our hearts we wish that God allows his relatives to find comfort and strength in these moments of such tremendous trial.  With eternal love and peace over all things.

Mrs. Collins was such an inspiration, both inside and outside of her classroom. She wasn’t just a teacher to me, but more like a second mother. When I got injured in high school, she drove me to and from school for several weeks. I am so deeply saddened to hear of her passing. To her family: I am praying for you and here if you need anything at all. 

Cindy was a bright light and great support when we began our teaching jobs at Gateway Charter many years ago. She was such a talented artist and loved sharing it with her students.

Mrs.Collins was a very nice teacher. She would always let me do my own project because I took her class last year. She also always said to other kids that I was really nice to her all the time. She was a very good art teacher and a good person she showed me how to do a lot of stuff. I will miss her a lot. RIP Mrs.Collins 

My son is saddened by the death of his teacher.  He told me he was close to her even though he never took one of her classes... and my son doesn't get close to many people.  Ms. Collins must have been an extraordinary person and a wonderful teacher who touched many lives, and I'm grateful for her influence at Gateway Charter High School.  I know she will be greatly missed.

Cindy was my close, dear friend. I will miss her every day for the rest of my life. My heart goes out to her husband, children, and parents. There are too many memories to mention but, when I think of Cindy, I think of her generosity and the motherly love she had for her students. She has left an impact on so many lives. Rest in peace, my dear friend.
