Chester A. Jezior, born in Chicago and a resident of Florida for the last 24 years, died peacefully on September 22, 2023. He was the proud father of Jacqueline (the late James Janicek), the late Bruce, Susan (the late Gary Shade), and Lori (Bruce Tucker); grandfather of Kathryn (Ted), Julia (Jason), Sarah (Franz), Zandra, Jason (Tia), Heather, Danny (Lizzy) and Zachary; great-grandfather of Thomas and Zofie; brother of Henry. In his 93 years, Chester served in the US Army from 1951-1953 and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict; was an avid boater, hunter and fisherman; and had a passion for woodworking, able to create anything out of a hunk of wood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Chester‘s name to Captains for Clean Water (captainsforcleanwater.org)
