Candi was born in Washington D.C. to Paul A. and Virginia A. Davis, who preceded her in death. She was raised in Falls Church, Virginia and Johnson City, Tennessee before moving to Ft. Myers in 1991. Candi graduated from Milligan College in Johnson City, Tennessee in 1979 with a degree in Business Administration and earned an MBA from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee in 1981. She began her career in management with K-Mart in Knoxville, Tennessee and later became a field auditor with the Internal Revenue Service in Florida. She was a devoted mother, wife, and accountant for her husband’s dental practice. Candi was a member of First Christian Church in Ft. Myers and a long time volunteer at her children’s school, Evangelical Christian School.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 25 years, Dr. Jon P. Sipos, children; son, Aaron and daughters, Abbie and Amy, and beloved dog, Molly; brother, Paul A. Davis, Jr. (Pati), Falls Church, Virginia; sisters, Ginny D. McKinney (Ed), Johnson City, Tennessee, Connie D. O’Neal (Barry), Morristown, Tennessee; niece, Katie Jo O’Neal, and nephews, Andrew O’Neal, and William A. Davis. In addition, she is survived by her mother-in-law, Mary Sipos (Father-in-Law Lou Sipos preceded her in death), Youngstown, Ohio; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Sipos, Struthers, Ohio; brother-in-law, Jeff Sipos (Kellie), Redington Shores, Florida; nieces, Emily, Olivia, Maddie, and Mollie, and great niece, Marlie.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation 30 minutes prior to the service at the Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park in Fort Myers, Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Evangelical Christian School- 8237 Beacon Blvd. Fort Myers, FL 33907, or to Hope Hospice, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, Florida.
