On Monday, June 21, 2021, we lost our beloved mother, Bonnie Jean Price of Lehigh Acres, FL. She was born October 1, 1943 in Roanoke, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Eugene Price, Sr; her mother, Helen Frances Nathanson and her sister, Sherry Lee Smith.
After graduation from high school, Bonnie worked at the Roanoke Telephone Company. She worked at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Brecksville, Ohio where she met her future husband, Earl Price. Later in her working career, she retired from the United States Geological Survey, Branch of Coal Resources for the Department of Interior.
Aside from her professional career, Bonnie was an artist with an emphasis in watercolor and acrylic painting. She was an avid animal lover.
Surviving are: sons, Earl Eugene Price, Jr. and Eric David Price; step daughters, Cheryl Allen Brown, Katherine Marie Price and Crystal Earl Price; four grandchildren, Nicholas Eric Price, Viveca Leona Roby Price, Olivia Leray Price and Morgan Jean Price; brother: David Edward Harris and several nieces and nephews.
