Gail Georgette Graves-Bundy (75) has been a significant community member of Topock for the last 37 years. She has always been known to be a fun and lively person. She met and married her lifelong love David Bundy in Topock, AZ. They were so much in love and were such a cute couple. They were kids at heart with each other. Together they initiated several community functions at the Colorado River. Her favorite thing was boating up and down the river. She was a friend to all. She was the rock in the family and extended family. She welcomed friends and associates into the family. No one was a stranger to her. In a short time, a stranger would become part of the family. As her list of friends and family grew, she was instrumentally in keeping the piece with all the different personalities. She was such an amazing person and member of the community.
It is with a sad heart that we have to report she passed away in her sleep on 12/6/2022 at around 5:15am. Since losing David, she has spent most of her time home alone. It has been a long hard 7 years for her. Her health has been significantly declining over the last month with significant pain. After her last visit to the hospital, she returned home on hospice to wait the few days until the Lord called her home to be with David Bundy and her granddaughter Mary Potter.
She is survived by her four daughters: Carol Freeman, Julie Freeman, Nancy Kemp, and Peggy Griffin. She is survived by her 12 grandchildren: John Smith, Christina Kordich, Robert Campodonico, Robert Douglass, Melanie Douglass, David Potter, Martin Potter, James Potter, Robert Freeman, Kaneesha Proctor, Dontae Griffin, and Darnell Griffin. She is survived by 19 great grandchildren. She enjoyed spending her time with all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. We all miss her so much. It is so difficult to let her go. However, we know that she is going home to be with David and all the rest of the family who has already gone home
