I only knew Wanda for a short time these past few months but her warm smile, courage and strong faith touched me deeply. May she rest in peace.

Wanda Dilks was a true source of strength for me . Until the vey end she always had the spirit of "Never give up. On my bad days I could always walk over to Wanda, say hello and instantly feel a source of power and inspiration from her.Thank you Wanda for being all that God intended you to be. We will meet again in Heaven. Until then, in life's struggles, because of you I will "Never Give UP" Thanks Again , We Love and Miss  you (1337)

My Dearest Kay, You left us way too soon. It was my pleasure to call you a friend and to be a part of your life all these years. I will remember all your stories, the children, the grand children, the weddings, the death of your beloved Mom. Being a part of your life has touched me. I have an emptiness, a space missing in my heart knowing you are no longer here with us. You have always been so very special, your kindness, your smile, gratitude and zest for life has always been an inspiration. The dog stories, the goat adventures........Loved them all. We were kindred spirits. We were both married the same year and attended the same Peter Frampton concert in 1976. Even our husbands looked alike. We shared many good times over the years and fought lots of battles together. You would bring us Publix creme cakes and best of all the homemade pecan pies. I wish you could have seen the break room when one of your pecan pies arrived! Everyone!!! was excited and most of us ate a slice before we ate our lunch fearing we would miss out. You were always upbeat no matter what was going on and had the ability to spread your smile and change the energy in the room when needed. I enjoyed your company, your style and your presence.  My precious sister kaye my best friend,has gone home to the lord. I'm heartbroken. You are no longer suffering for that I rejoice. You gave your illness a real punch.You fought like a champion. You fought the battle with dignity and grace never complaining. You showed our family  that when life gives you lemons you make lemonade.You are a inspiration to our family. Family and friends meant the world to you. No matter how bad you felt you always had a warm smile and words of encouragement for others. I could  never imagine life without you,but here it is. My whole life we've been together through the good times, rough times, sad times, it's always been cindy and kaye my whole life. I will forever be inspired by you. I'll cherish all the precious moments
 and the priceless memories. When it came  to sisters you're the best. You will forever be in my heart. I love you sister with all my heart and soul. Your ltitle sister cindy.

Wanda was one of a kind.  I'm so glad I got to know her.  I will truly miss the laughs, the food critiques, her presence and her gentle soul.  Always to be remembered.  RIP, Wanda.

Kaye was my friend and was like a second mom to me. She welcomed me into her family 21 years ago, and I thank God that she was a part of my life. She loved her family immensely. I will always admire her strength and her kindness. May her strength carry on to her family and friends while they remember and honor what a beautiful person she was inside and out. I know you would want us all to celebrate you, and to always try to enjoy our lives to the fullest. I will always remember how through all of your pain you kept a smile and how your heart lit up for those you loved. I will miss our long talks and fun times together. You will be Forever in my heart Kaye. I find some comfort in knowing you are no longer suffering and are at peace watching over us all now. I thank you for being you and I love you Kaye.

I am so sorry for your loss. Wanda was such a special person, I have never seen someone with all of her health problems have a smile always. We had long talks quite often and it was always about her family and how special you are and how much you meant to her. Cherish those memories and I hope you can find peace. My deepest sympathy to all the family.
