Vincent "Alan" Jones

Vincent Alan Jones 79 passed away suddenly on March 11, 2022, he is survived by his wife of 35 years Brenda Lee Remmy Jones, his sister Sunie Gayle Jones Farmer husband Oakley, Nephew Alan Thixton(little Alan) wife Kelly, Niece Shannon Sachs husband Darrin.

Alan was preceded in death by his Brother Steven Gary Jones, Father Vincent Jones(Pogey), Mother Norma-Jean Puckett Jones and Niece Britt Thixton.

Alan was born January 3, 1943 at Sheppard Army-Air Force base in Wichita Falls Texas while his father was serving in the Army-Air Force during WWII flying missions in Germany, Alan graduated from Fort Lauderdale High School in 1961 and enlisted in the Army in March of 1962 he was stationed in Pacific Missouri, he had a 28 year career at Southern Bell/BellSouth in Pompano Beach/Deerfield Beach Florida he was able to enjoy 25 years of retirement life where he found that he was really good at working with his hands and restored a 130 Year Old Queen Anne Victorian Home to it’s shining former glory, he left his mark everywhere he went.

He excelled at every sport he tried but Golf became his passion, he will be missed by all his family and friends. His laugh his smile and his gift for story telling will forever be our fondest memories of Alan.

He will always make my heart skip a beat, keep my place next to you warm until we are together again.

Alan's memorial service and Celebration of Life will commence on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 2:00 at the Kraeer - Fairchild Funeral Home, 4061 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale. A reception will follow in the Kraeer - Fairchild Event Room.
