Ruth K. Lucas passed away Monday, January 3, 2011 at the age of 84. She was born in Brooklyn, New York and has lived for many years in Southwest Ranches. She and her late husband Bob owned and operated the Suez Resort on Miami Beach until 2002. She enjoyed traveling the world. She is survived by her daughter Loretta, son Robert, daughter in-law Patti and her three grandchildren Garrett, Andrea and Robert. Viewing will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home South and Memorial Gardens on Friday, January 7, 2011 from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm. Mass will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church at 1:00 pm.
