Ronald James Shuriah, 90, passed away on January 18, 2019 in Plantation, Florida. Ronald was born on September 25, 1928 in Pear Tree, Saint Mary, Jamaica, to parents Kenneth Joseph Shuriah and Iona Penelpi Reid.
Ronald is survived by his spouse, Lurine Shuriah; daughters, Ardeen Shuriah, Yvonne Bower, Deidre Chang and Nerre Shuriah; and an extension of family and friends.
A visitation for Ronald will be held Friday, February 1, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home South, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317. A visitation will occur Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317. A funeral service will occur Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317. A burial will occur Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens South, 2401 Davie Road, Davie, Florida 33317.
Ronald will be missed dearly.
