born June 8, 1933 in Crown Point, Indiana.
Robert was a graduate of Crown Point High School, and then earned his Bachelor of Business
Administration Degree from the University of Miami class of 1955. He served in the United
States Army for 2 years as an Intelligence Officer, stationed in Germany 1955-56. Upon
returning to Miami, he opened a State Farm Insurance Agency and served the community for
over 40 years.
Through the years he enjoyed golf, cycling, photography and traveling. He also spent many
wonderful times at his beloved vacation home in Jackson Hole, WY.
Robert was an avid sports fan. He loved watching Golf and both College and pro Football the
most. He enjoyed Miami Dolphins season tickets for many years, always saying the Orange
Bowl was his favorite stadium. His beloved team however was the University of Miami. He
followed Baseball, Basketball, and of course Football. The Hurricanes were his team no matter
how the seasons turned out. He was a true fan and enjoyed wearing the Orange and Green.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents Manford and Mabel Woody Pattee, sister Phyllis
Minas, and wife Mary A Pattee. Survived by son Alan Pattee(Irelys), stepson Steven
Oliver(Maria), and 4 grandchildren.
