Nancy:  Alexis and I loved you and considered you our idol.  We loved seeing you each summer at the Main Street Inn in Highlands and spending time with you.  Walking the town of Highlands, we found it difficult to keep up with your pace and of course, we could not match your style.  I just learned of your passing today and am overwhelmed with sadness.  You were exceptional and you will be missed.

Nancy will always be the model for style, grace and charm. I will miss her warm and cheerful presence at St. Pius  X.

Rarely are most of us called to be heroic.  Gigi was so called in her last months and she met the challenge of disease and death with as much grace as possible.  She died a hero without self-pity or despair.
