Lee was born in 1947 and spent his childhood in Brooklyn, NY and Hartford, CT. As an adult, he enlisted in the US Air Force. While on active duty, he lived abroad in Greece and England. After his time in the Air Force, he attended the University of Arizona, where he received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master's degree in marketing.
Lee had a long career spanning almost five decades. He worked in the computer and heart monitoring industries and eventually became a medical compliance officer. One of his favorite memories was commuting to Japan for work in the 1980s, where he learned the language and culture. Working hard came naturally to him.
Outside of work, Lee had a plethora of interests. He loved sailing, dogs (especially German Shepherds and Doberman Pinschers), cars, geology/fossils, aviation, ham radio, The Beatles, playing guitar, history, the philosophy of human thought, his 1980s bright red Porsche, any and all desserts (especially tres leches cake and egg cream), football, baseball, grilling, watching the news and TV in general, coin collecting, and so many other things. He loved making his family laugh (and grimace slightly) by testing his rusty Japanese in Japanese restaurants.
Lee is survived by his unendingly devoted and unconditionally loving wife, Amy, whom he shared a loving marriage with for 36 years. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and his brothers. He is predeceased by his grandmother, "Nanny," and his parents, Muriel and Erwin. Lee lived an incredibly full life, and his family is forever grateful for the time spent together.
