My deepest sympathies to Dina, Debbie and family. Mothers have a special place in our hearts.

So saddened to learn of Laura's passing.  I met this unique lady through the Plantation Democratic Club and worked with her many times at the West Regional Library and the Broward College campus in Davie, registering voters and getting various petitions signed.  We also saw each other on social occasions held by the Club.  Laura was so dedicated to so many causes, talented and seemingly indefatigable, never allowing any obstacles to get in her way, courageous to the end.  She was a wonderful role model for her daughters Debbie and Dina and I am certain they will follow in her footsteps.  I send condolece to them, to their father, Jack, and to the entire family. Dear Dina and Debbie so sorry about Mom she will be missed and she was so lucky to gave you both

Laura & I have known each other since the first year of nursing school at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital. She went on to become an excellent Obstetrical R.N. which included holding my hand through the birth of 2 of our children which I'll never forget. We continued our friendship with our husbands , Jack & Gene, & our kids.  She will be missed!  Diane Weiss

Dina and family: So so sorry for the loss of your mother. I have fond memories of her leading our Girl Scout troop and being so involved when we were kids. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. May G-D bless her soul and keep your family comforted during this difficult time. Remember she may be gone from this world but will always be with you :-)
