He is survived by his wife and best friend Cindy Ivanoski, his two children: Seth Ivanoski and Alicia Ivanoski Faust and her husband Chuck. Gordon adored his 4 grandchildren: Madison, Charlie, Ethan, and Hope; and his great grandson, Charles Faust IV. Gordon is pre-deceased by his parents, Charles and Rachel Ivanoski. He leaves behind his sister, Lucille Worley, and her husband, Richard Worley, and their children: Melissa and Richard.
Gordon was born in New Britain, Connecticut. He graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Connecticut and earned his undergraduate from St. Michael's College in Vermont. Gordon then went on to get his Master’s degree in Math at Boston College. He later lived in Massachusetts where he was a math teacher at Wellesley High School. Gordon moved to Florida in 1982 where he worked at Pine Crest School in Ft. Lauderdale for 29 years. He was a devoted math teacher and dedicated cross country coach. He was a passionate man who loved to teach, and also lived to gain knowledge. He inspired others to love to learn; to laugh. Gordon had a great zest for life and lived his time to the fullest. After he retired from Pine Crest, he continued to teach through tutoring and continued to run. He traveled the world with his wife, Cindy. He was a great friend and father and was loved so much. Grandpa Gordon will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 9:00 - 11:00 at the Kraeer - Fairchild Funeral Home, 4061 North Federal Highway. Gordon's funeral service will commence at Noon at St. Coleman Catholic Church where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Entombment will take place in Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
