Eva Ashchian

Eva was born in Istanbul, Turkey to parents Filor and Manuk Pancuk on June 6th, 1955. Eva came to the United States in 1974 where she raised her three daughters, worked alongside her brother in jewelry manufacturing, and eventually took care of her grandchildren. She was involved in her children’s elementary school as a teacher aide where she was known as Miss A and was a devoted Sunday school teacher at the Armenian Church for many years. Eva enjoyed socializing over coffee and hookah, shopping with her daughters, getting her nails done, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Eva is preceded in death by her father Manuk Pancuk and her mother Filor Pancuk.

Eva is survived by her three daughters Linda Murdock, Rita Hensley and Tina Ashchian, her brother Serge Pancuk, her sons-in-law Kevin Murdock, Brandon Hensley, and Jason Alvarado and her four grandchildren Noah Hensley, Isabella Murdock, Leo Alvarado and Sofia Alvarado.

A funeral service for Eva will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at St. Mary Armenian Apostolic Church, 4050 NW 100th Ave, Hollywood, FL 33024. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2401 Davie Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317.
