Edward is survived by his loving parents, Eduardo and Yareny Valdés, of Pembroke Pines, FL; his brother, Kristian (Kiki), and his sister, Adriana (Matty).
Edward was born on January 23, 1997 in Coral Gables, FL. He graduated from Archbishop McCarthy High School, Southwest Ranches, FL in 2015. He was also pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at Florida International University. He was a few credits short of graduating.
Edward growing up was a natural athlete with a passion for the game of basketball. He was also a talented football player. Both sports taught him many life values that he carried with him. His future was bright in business and the professional world. He was ambitious, a go-getter, and most importantly loyal to all of his friends and family. His smile was magnetic and never failed at brightening up a room. Everyone that Edward came in contact with had the pleasure of seeing his unwavering spirit, passion, and unlimited supply of positive energy. Edward also outworked everyone around him by a longshot. Edward was traveling for work and stationed in Little Rock, Arkansas working to change state laws. He was working to increase public school funding for underfunded schools in the state and to pass an anti-gerrymandering bill through his work with Ven-Vamos.
