David John Kohl, 57, of Tamarac, FL, entered into eternal rest on June 24, 2022. He was born in Newark, NJ, to B. John and Claire T. Kohl. He graduated from Sacred Heart Grammar School and Seton Hall Preparatory School. In 1987 he graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Miami. While at UM he joined Sigma Phi Epsilon, a social college fraternity for male college students focusing on Building Balanced Men. He was a member of the fraternity’s Board of Governors and remained an active participant in SigEp.
A 28 year resident of Broward County Florida, he worked in banking in his early years and later as a Legal Administrator for Colodny Fass. He was a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Coral Springs, FL, and was active on two homeowner’s association Boards. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Debbie, his brother Paul (Marcie Cholish), his sister Lynda (Geoff Hymans) and many nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed running and walking, traveling with his wife and spending time with family and friends. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am on August 5 at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Coral Springs, FL. Followed by a Celebration of Life at The View at Colony West, Tamarac, FL.
