I know  she is gone, but it still hurts to know that I can't  see or talk with her. 

Family members, I know you are holding on to wonderful memories that will comfort you.

We don't remember when we adopted her as our "Aunt Daph", but we loved her as an aunt and she accepted us. Fond memories of our visits with her will remain with us. Her sweet treats for us will be missed. We pray God's comfort for the family. 


A fond farewell Aunt Daphne.  We didn’t see you often but it was nice knowing you were always there.  You will be missed.  May you rest in peace.

Growing up with Aunty Daff in Jamaica was a fun experience it was like growing up with an awesome big sister. When Mom and Dad would go into Kingston and say Aunty is in charge we were happy campers as we knew we were in for a fun time and maybe, just maybe Aunty would take us to the ice cream parlour where she worked and make us one of those delicious ice cream sodas. We were kids ice cream was a real treat.
When we all moved to the U. S. and Aunty  lived in Manhattan and we lived in Brooklyn, that did not stop me from being a frequent visitor at her place almost every weekend I would ride the subway to Manhattan to hang at Aunty's. She was just someone you wanted to be around, a kind gentle soul who will be greatly missed. But God needs you Aunty so we have to say goodbye and may you rest in peace.

We remember aunt Daph as a loving, kind individual. She cared about my family in a special way. Her kindness will never be forgotted.  Aunt Daph has been a blessing to many of us.  Forever loved.

A sad goodbye to my dear Aunt Daph. Oh how I’ll miss her pleasant always smiling face. I remember when my twin sister Babs & I left  our parents home going to England & my Mother had arranged for us to stop off in USA to see her sister, our Aunt .We were not there a day, when she decided we had to have our ears pierced. I was a little scared as she was only going to rub thee ear, then rub it & then the piercing would be done. She was so confident & as she was always a parent to us. So I gritted my teeth & I found out it was quick & painless. It was one of the best things she did for us. I will always miss my dear wonderful Aunty Daph.RIP   dear “Aunty”. Say 👋to our loved ones who passed before. So long Aunty. Rest well in God’s arms. Your niece-JOAN.
